Meet Jayla

Welcome, friend! I’m so happy you’re here.

I started this blog to share my love of fashion, faith, and living a chic lifestyle. After graduating college, marrying my husband, and moving to Japan-I developed a love for research and learning new things. Don’t get me wrong, I have tried content creation before, but this time-I’m doing it without hiding my quirks, opinions, or interests.

Blame it on turning thirty or maybe it’s just God’s grace- but, I have never felt so comfortable in my own skin. Some days, the featured post might be about the newest Chloe collection. Some days it will be about the cultural impacts of Bravo. Either way, we are going to enjoy every bit of this life. Because it’s too short to be anything but fabulous.

FAQ

Technically, I have been clogging since 2010, but I struggled with consistency. That carried over into my next attempt in 2013-2023. I have always loved to write and blogging in an extension of my devotion to written word.

Blogging allows me to express myself on multiple topics. I have many special interests and rather than forcing myself to pick one-I started blogging and creating content about all things fashion, faith, history, and pop culture.

For writing- I love Grammarly. For video editing- I love Final cut Pro.

As a woman aiming for quality over quantity, I prefer brands like Pact, Everlane, Anthropologie, Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Madewell, and believe it or not… Kohl’s! My goal is natural fibers and great craftmanship, so I just avoid unncessary/high amounts of materials like polyester!
